MoPA recognized for academic excellence
A benchmark in animation training
For almost 25 years, MoPA 3D animation film school, based in Arles, has established itself as a reference in the world of animated cinema, in France and internationally. With more than 600 graduates, with 40% of them starting their careers abroad, MoPA ranks among the best animation film schools in the world. After a Level 7 RNCP Title registered and certified by the Ministry of Labor, the MoPA team is proud to announce that the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research has authorized the school to issue a BAC+5 Diploma by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
An internationally-recognized diploma
For several years, the RNCP Title issued by the Ministry of Labor has attested to an official level of qualification for MoPA. In 2024, the school finally reached the latest and highest recognition of academic excellence. The Official Bulletin No. 2 of January 11, 2024 issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research thus grants recognition by the State and authorization to issue the state-recognized diploma of Expert in Design, Production and 3D Animation (Bac + 5) by the Ministry of Higher Education.
MoPA earned this precious Visa (official endorsement) through a rigorous analysis of the school and its training. The educational program, lecturers, student works, evaluation system, partnerships, alumni career paths, international awards and even research - everything meticulously studied to guarantee the high level and quality of the diploma. And if the RNCP Title validates a level of qualification on the national sphere, this new recognition establishes the credentials of MoPA animation film school internationally!
A springboard for our graduates
With a project-centered pedagogy, MoPA training covers the entire design and production chain of a 3D-animated film. Our students thus benefit from the hardware and software used in production studios, trained by professionals in the sector imparting their skills and experience. Through end-of-year juries or events such as the MIFA at the Festival of Annecy, our students have the opportunity to meet potential future employers to whom they can display the scope of their talent.
With this official state recognition, and by obtaining the Visa for the diploma, our students have access to a veritable springboard as they launch their professional careers, in France and internationally, allowing them to shine in the best 3D cinema animation studios.
