Meet a pro: Krassimir Mercier, Senior Concept Artist at Ubisoft
Krassimir Mercier is a Senior Concept Artist for video games at publisher Ubisoft. He works in the pre-production phase of video games and his job is to draw characters, backgrounds and other assets to animate video games.
He mainly uses 2D for this but is increasingly starting to use 3D animation to produce cutting-edge concept art.
After attending a screening of MoPA's final student project films, he was impressed at their level of design and 3D animation. He actually emphasises how their films intertwine the technical and the emotional.
