MoPA is organizing an exclusive job dating event for its students at MIFA
The Annecy International Animation Film Festival and MIFA are two must-attend events for industry professionals. This year, MoPA organized a unique recruitment event for its students during these prestigious gatherings.
Around fifteen recruiters from internationally renowned studios were invited by MoPA for this exclusive event.
In a friendly atmosphere, each 3D animation student had the opportunity, through a private job dating session, to spend several minutes with the participating companies. This allowed professionals to meet the students, discuss their work, and scout for future talents to recruit in production.
For MoPA’s graduating students, this event, designed by the 3D animation film school, gave them a crucial step into the professional world. It helped them understand the expectations of potential employers and the job market more broadly, making it an essential and valuable moment as they position themselves as future professionals.
“It was an amazing experience! I had the chance to meet studios like Fortiche, DNEG, Illumination... So many great studios, both big and small. It was an opportunity to get feedback on our demo reels, receive advice for the professional world, and directly connect with them.”
“We met some really motivated students with amazing demo reels. There are some fantastic projects coming up.”
“We saw a lot of interesting profiles in lighting, rigging, animation, layout...”
“I loved it! I think the school’s initiative to organize job dating is fantastic! It allows us to take one more step into the professional world, expand our network, and showcase our work.”
MoPA’s job dating event fostered great connections between students and the professionals who came to meet them.
See you next year for the new edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival!
