Words from our lecturers: Thomas, Lighting Artist
After eight years mainly working as a 3D Lighting Artist, Thomas decided to help students and share his experience by becoming a lecturer at the MoPA 3D film animation school.
Lighting is very technical, so he finds ways to make the complex information more accessible and thus more enjoyable. His goal is to tone down the extremely technical side of being a 3D film animator to give students a better appreciation of it.
He says that MoPA students are incredibly creative and highly curious, and they want to achieve the skills needed in the film animation industry.
